Syria: ICRC distributions of food and essential household items in 2012

During 2012, the ICRC provided food, household items and school supplies via the Syrian Arab Red Crescent for IDPs and others affected by the fighting.
In total, the ICRC supplied:

  • General food parcels for 1,390,000 people
  • Canned-food parcels for 140,000 people
  • Essential household items for 390,000 people
  • School kits for 30,000 pupils
