Syria: ICRC activities in 2012

See below the activities led by the ICRC and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in the governorates of Syria from January to September 2012.
Summary:
More than 1,000,000 people received a monthly food ration
More than 175,000 essential household items were distributed (hygiene kits, mattresses and blankets)
More than 1,100,000 people benefited from access to clean water (reparation of infrastructure, water trucking, etc.)
The ICRC delivered enough medical material to treat thousands of the wounded and sick.
